This post on Christian resistance from Principled Discovery is well worth a read.

So is this post at Q and O on Well Being in the US. In spite of all the negative media coverage of the economy, most people feel pretty good about it - and they have every reason to.

Finally, at PoliPundit there’s a discussion about whether former Senator, current lobbyist John Breaux can run for governor of Louisiana. Seems pretty cut and dried to me - he’s registered to vote in MD, has a homestead exemption in MD, has a MD driver’s license, and after Katrina he returned to LA to hunt and got an out of state hunter’s license. Sure, he’s from here, but he doesn’t live here. He visits. Whether or not he runs, Bobby Jindal is going to win.

In an effort to keep this blog both PG-13 and to discourage spam, I've installed a plugin that asterisks out profanity and common spam words. When you see asterisks in a comment, you can mouse over the word to see it in a screen tip.
