Here’s a nice change, after the rash of shootings in New Orleans:
Neighbors initially called police about 11 p.m., while the men were yelling, playing loud music and urinating outside their home at 945 N. Magnolia St., Foltz said. Officers told the men, who appeared to be drunk, to tone it down and take the party inside, and had to return about 20 minutes later to repeat their warning, he said.
The men were undeterred, however, and when they continued to cause a disturbance two men and two women who live nearby came out to confront them, Foltz said.
At that point the men armed themselves. Hernandez began swinging a machete, Castro grabbed a baseball bat and the two other men broke a wooden chair and used its legs as clubs, Foltz said.
You know, in the UK crimes like this simply never happen, because big knives and sticks are banned.
