A Day Late, Bible Reading Plans

bibleA day late but not a dollar short, given that they’re all free… here are a variety of bible study reading plans. My husband and I are reading together (out loud!) the chronological bible. (Amazing, the things you have time for when you don’t have cable TV.) This is an actual printed bible like this one, not just a reading plan.  It took about fifteen minutes, and it was a very pleasant end to the day.  However, good as it is, it doesn’t take the place of individual daily devotions. So I looked at these bible reading plans to see what appeals. Or, if I want to get all churchy, which plan I “felt led” to follow.  What I really love about all these plans is you can get them via RSS, email, and a variety of other options.  This’ll be in the “daily” folder of my Google Reader. I’ve subscribed to the Daily Reading Bible, which covers the Old Testament once and the New Testament and Psalms twice in a year.  It looks like it’ll take about 10 minutes to read, so if I miss a day, it will not be hard to catch up.  And realistically, I’m going to miss a day, or two, or more.  But a plan where even if I had to double up in order to catch up, would only take 15-20 minutes a day, is an achievable goal.
