This is just amazing – a retired British farmer has spent 30 years building a model of Herod’s Temple. The detail is remarkable, and it’s all hand-made, even the little bricks.
‘It’s now recognised as the most authentic version of the temple in the world,’ he said. ‘I’ve had a lot of offers from people to buy it, but it’s not for sale.’

lol, when you put it that way! But of all the times I read about the temple – in both testaments – I didn’t have a feel for the majesty of it; how huge it was, etc. I wish they’d take a camera at the end of a wire (forget what that’s called, but you know, the little tiny ones used for surveillance) and “walk” it through so we’d have video of the inside from a human perspective. THAT would be cool.
Someone needs to scan this into the computer and then let us ‘walk’ through it.
