The Fox News break on the radio just now began with “As the phrase goes, ‘ask and you shall receive’” and went on to discuss the plight of U.S. automakers begging for a taxpayer bailout. I wonder if the reporter knows that’s from the bible and just didn’t want to say so, or if he thinks the expression came from a secular source.
