A huge cloud of smug engulfs Barbra Streisand at her recent Obama fundraiser. See? Her eyes are even closed!
Barbra Streisand warns John McCain:
“As someone who has spent over 40 years advocating on behalf of women both politically and philanthropically, as someone who was a strong supporter of Hillary Clinton and as someone who cares deeply about the health and welfare of all women, hear me Senator McCain: This calculated, cynical ploy to pull away a small percentage of Hillary’s women voters from Barack Obama will not work. We are not that stupid!”
Speaking of stupid, apparently Ms. Streisand has at least wised up enough to hire a ghostwriter for her blog, it’s much improved. Unlike some Feminists, at least Babs acknowledges that Palin is a woman.
But obviously, the same way I will not vote for Obama because I am a racist, I WILL vote for Palin because she’s a woman. It’s not because she’s for smaller government and conservative principles, has earned her political career (unlike Hillary, who married it), supports the 2nd amendment, is pro-life, has a track record of fighting corruption, and appears to have a strong streak of common sense. No. I’m voting for Palin because she’s a woman.
