I can’t believe Obama was arrogant enough to say this:
The one thing that I want to insist on is that, as I travel around the country, the American people are a decent people. Now they get confused sometimes. You know, they listen to the wrong talk radio shows or watch the wrong TV networks, um, but they’re, they’re basically decent, they’re basically sound.
We “get confused sometimes?” Well, we can’t all carry a teleprompter around with us wherever we go, Obamessiah. We’re not intelligent enough to select our own news and entertainment… but I’m sure he’ll fix that for us. This is nothing more than a paraphrase of “poor, uneducated and easy to command.“ I guess I should be grateful for the “basically decent” sop.
This isn’t a new theme from the Obamessiah campaign. Joe Biden says we’re “just not used to somebody who’s really smart.” Someone “as smart as Barack is… mustn’t be from my neighborhood.”
So much for “change.” It’s just the same old liberal elite arrogance that insists they’re smarter than us.
