Behold — the way of death

Blessed is the man who finds Wisdom, 
the man who gains understanding.
She is more profitable than silver,
and she yields better returns than gold.
She is a tree of life  to those who embrace her
(Proverbs 3:13-15).

Economists routinely point out that government manipulation of the economy will lead to a shortage of goods. In the case of health care, the “goods” would be health care services.

Usually, socialists have enough sense to deny this obvious fact. They don’t generally just admit it outright. But apparently, Obama does not have much of this good political sense, because he admits that he wants to ration medicine – and thereby kill your grandmother.

Grandma doesn’t need that expensive surgery; she just needs some painkillers. Other people need the medical services that you would’ve purchased if you had possessed the liberty to do so. It’s better to let grandma die so that others can use your money.

Apparently his reasoning goes something like this:
1. Killing your grandmother would save money.
2. Meanwhile, the poor masses could really use your money.
3. Therefore, Obama’s socialistic plan is efficient.

Of course, Obama forgets that allowing individuals to spend their own money on doctors would promote the highest overall efficiency, because then workers would have the strongest incentives to produce their own income and live healthy lives. But don’t bother Obama with the facts.

Meanwhile, let’s listen to the hippie Christians chime in, the gnostic idealists who voted for Obama:

Well Drew, aren’t the needs of the poor important to you? You think your grandma’s extra two years of life are more important than the extra ten for the deadbeat living in public housing? What, you’re not greedy, are you? Isn’t the love of Jesus in you? And you call yourself a Christian, Drew??

Besides, Jesus said that whoever fails to hate grandfathers and grandmothers cannot truly follow him. Who are you to object to socialism? Power to the proletariat!

Sadly, there really are Christians who think in a way similar to this. These hypocrites make me sick. Any Christians who voted for Obama, WAKE UP. GET SOME WISDOM. STOP RUINING MY COUNTRY.

But ironically, there exists a modicum of poetic justice in all this foolishness. Remember, the elderly have always tended to vote for liberal, socialistic policies. Now they can  finally see where their death philosophy has led — when Obama starts killing them off through medical rationing.
