Believe it or not, one of the main reasons I blog these days is pornography. And again, believe it or not, I don’t do so in order to condemn pornography – although I have often done that very thing. As I’ve said before, viewing pornography is battering women by proxy. There are no redeeming features to porn. It’s harmful to those who make it and to those who view it.
This site averages 5000 visitors a month, and hundreds of them arrived here seeking pornography because of a few posts that unintentionally contained key words related to specific porn sites. Once I noticed that phenomenon in the referrals, I deliberately used those keywords in a few posts, as well. Why porn seekers would click through to the domain pursuingholiness.com is baffling, but they do show up with startling regularity. They are probably quite disappointed when they arrive, so I try to help them out. A dozen or so people seeking porn click through to this site daily. Maybe a few stay there. The fact that I post often and do open trackback posts regularly keeps this site high enough on search engines to get clicks and hopefully send those people to where they need to go.
Well, there are worse reasons to keep up with a blog. Anybody else out there blogging for odd reasons?

God bless you sister
Thanks.
