Card printers, too late!

I like to keep up with different business solutions, but I was really frustrated to see this card printers website… years ago I was practically desperate for a solution for professionally made gift cards for my business and couldn’t find anything that fit my budget and specifications.  Now that I’ve more or less shut it down, I find this nifty solution where you can make the cards on site yourself instead of having to order a certain number of them – which was always far more than I wanted.  Well, c’est la vie… it’s too late for me, however, the cards will come in handy for the K-12 private school where I had a mercifully short-lived stint teaching computer literacy.  They really need it.  These days – unless you can really secure your campus, and face it, you can’t – it’s important to  have school identification.  That goes for day care facilities, too, though it works in reverse.  The ID is for the parents, not the students.  Pick up cards were unheard of when my daughter was in daycare nearly twenty years ago but are gaining in popularity now.  So I can at least give them a heads-up about this solution, though it still aggravates me that I found it too late for my own use.  Seems to be a pattern of that, these days…
