Cool Medical Technology

Well, the Daughter Of The House had shoulder surgery yesterday for an injury she got a camp which was aggravated by being hit by a drunk driver recently, so I’ll be out of pocket most of today. One really nifty thing – the surgeon installed a pump in her shoulder that delivers something like Novocaine through a tube like a soaker hose to the injured area. So she’s not in a huge amount of pain, and doesn’t have to load up on narcotics. It’s a great idea, and I hope whoever thought of it makes a bundle.

And since this is an open trackback post, and it’s “Chocolate Day” at Linkfest Haven, have a rousing rendition of Chocolateville!

    As A Muslim I apologize.
I am sorry that my religion, far from being a “religion of peace” is in fact a barbaric cult

  4. The Traitor Lynne Stewart

Do you remember who Lynne Stewart is? If you do, you have a better memory than I do. She was charged with her crimes so long ago and so much has happened since then that it’s been easy for her to be relegated to the back page small print of the Globa…

  5. Godzilla

Sarasota Herald-Tribune Columnist David Grimes has a funny column about the earthquake Florida felt last weekend. Yes a 6.0 magnitude one took place in the Gulf of Mexico and was felt in parts of Florida.
