Deathly Hallows

I have nothing to add to Karl’s post at Leaning Straight Up:

Bought it

Read it.

Liked it.

Find your spolers somewhere else. All I will say is that I predicted one death, and was surposed at another, and I was right about one thing even if it took a twist I didn’t anticipate.

She ended it well, and didn’t take any easy shortcuts and the final twist was unexpected.

I’ll have more to discuss in a week or so, and I may even take a shot at all 7 books in a series.

Well, two things:
1. I cheated – about 450 pages in I succumbed to temptation and read the epilogue so I knew who lived. It didn’t ruin the story, though.
2. Since I’m really sick and for the most part stuck in bed anyway, I’m going to read it again immediately. I hate that it’s over just as much as I hate ending my annual trek through Middle Earth via both the books and the movies.
