Expose the Left has a post where Bill Clinton apparently said that the GOP is dominated by right-wing, white Southerners. I don’t care about the white or the Southerners, but I do sincerely wish it was dominated by the right wing.
If the GOP were dominated by the right wing, all of our judges would have gotten through the process. The border would be well on the way to being closed. Employers of illegals would be jailed and fined. Leakers of classified information would be prosecuted, and those who publish it would face some kind of consequence for their law-breaking. The fact is that the rank and file of the GOP is right wing, but our leadership, starting with the President and most of the leadership, is not. How else do we get guest worker plans, Social Security for illegals, and BCRA, just to name a few offenses? We only keep voting for them because the alternatives are worse.
