Something that has always driven me completely wild is the socialist/leftist concept that there is a limited amount of wealth in the world and that some people are unfairly taking more than their “fair share” of the pie. Is there a better example of wealth creation than The Harry Potter economy? Joanne Rowling had an idea. Then she chose to work hard writing it out (instead of doing nothing or pursuing other opportunities) and took the personal risk of rejection by trying to get it published. And because of that, thousands of people have had jobs and millions (billions?) in new wealth has been created.
