Good question from IraqPundit: What Do the MSM Have Against Iraq?
I just wonder why the mainstream media’s position is that Iraqis are unable to negotiate so let’s just hand them over to the terrorists and militias.
Perhaps it’s because they rely on the wisdom of the likes of Juan Cole, who today says the helicopter that crashed in Basra killing seven U.S. soldiers was perhaps shot down by the Mahdi militia. Never mind the U.S. military says it was part of a convoy of helicopters, none of which came under hostile fire. Cole’s still rooting for the Mookie’s thugs.
And the answer is – the MSM has nothing against Iraq. It’s just that the lives of Iraqis are less important to them than the ability to slam the GOP.
