Rob Bell (see this previous post if you’re not aware of the current controversy) asked a series of questions in promoting his latest book, starting with: Gandhi’s in hell? He is? And someone knows this for sure?
And the answer is, while we don’t know what mercy God may have shown Gandhi at the very end of his life, based on his lifetime of publicly rejecting Jesus as savior, yes, there’s a very strong probability that Gandhi is, in fact, in hell. Denny Burk answers Bell’s questions with bible cites.
