Fortunately, a significant majority of Americans do accept that dropping the atomic bombs on Japan was the right thing to do. It makes me so mad when people condemn the bombing as somehow “immoral.” The Japanese had it coming for what they did at Pearl Harbor! If we want to maintain our security in the world, we need to get over this timidity about killing civilians in war. War involves death and blood (Judges 11:32-33), not a clean and civil lawsuit in a courtroom.
