Perhaps we could do worse, but I think we could do better. Authoritarians tend not to be friends of liberty.
From my limited knowledge of Arpaio, he seems like he’d be just as inclined as Obama to shove his will down our throats. We might find his will less distasteful, but it’s the same infringement on our freedom.
