I have a really auditory memory. I can recognize voices very easily, and I memorize movie lines effortlessly – we often joke around by having whole conversations in movie lines. Bible verses, not so much. I can usually kinda-sorta paraphrase verses I’ve read – usually with no idea where they came from. So using scripture memory music is a natural fit for me. Sadly, every time I’ve bought it in the past it was so pathetically lame I couldn’t bear to listen to it. I’m talking John Denver lame. Don Ho lame. If you’re under 40 you won’t get that, but trust me.
This group has some surprisingly well done scripture memory music. It doesn’t sound much like The Black Keys or any other music I’d normally listen to. But it’s catchy.
