Mark Steyn has had enough. The “elect a Republican at any cost” mentality has got to go. It’s completely ridiculous. As the line from the movie Working Girl goes, I can dance around the house in my underwear, but it doesn’t make me Madonna. And if Scozzfava is going to be accepted as a Republican – and party leadership seems to think she should be – it only confirms the wisdom of my defection from the GOP.
And I just threw a few bucks into Hoffman’s basket that in years past might have gone to the GOP.
Not to quibble much, but Mr. Steyn has “had enough” on that mindset for as far back as I can remember reading him.
Not that it invalidates the point in the least– I’d rather have a “libertarian” who fits all the important bits of Republican, than the RINOs we keep being offered as our only alternative to socalists, too.
It just kinda ruins the impact of saying “enough is enough!” when it boils down to saying the same thing you’ve been saying for years. -.-

I love the image I’ve seen on the net of the Donation Application for the GOP that has the words “No more MONEY till we’ve talked” written on it in bold letters.
Gotta wake up the GOP somehow – easiest way is with our pocketbooks.
