What does Act For Change, brought to you by Working Assets, have in common with the American Family Association?
They want the Path to 9/11 docu-drama to not be aired. Act for Change objects to the fact that it nails Bill Clinton, et. al, for their lack of any meaningful effort to prevent terrorism (*cough* Jamie Gorelick *cough*), and the American Family Association wants it squelched for profanity. I have to say, I’m a lot more sympathetic to the AFA’s argument because their gripes about profanity are at least consistent, whereas the left – and in all fairness, I don’t know Working Assets specific position on this nor do I care enough to find out – has spent the last few years lambasting Bush for not treating the 9/11 Commission Report like the 3rd Testament of the bible. Now they’re screaming about how unfair it all is. Well, good. Let’s take this opportunity to discuss the contents of the Report again. And, uh, what was that other thing… I seem to remember some talk about a program… umm… Able Danger? Yes, that was it. Seems like that might be pertinent as well.
I don’t see how it can possibly be more slanted than Fahrenheit 911, which claims to be a documentary, not a docu-drama, but I’m going to enjoy finding out what all the hype is about.
