That encapsulates the arrogance of postmodern beliefs – the firm belief that everyone (except me, seated high on my “all beliefs are equal” postmodern horse) is wrong; mentally or emotionally deficient. It’s cowardly because the assertion that everyone (else) is wrong precludes one from having to take a real stand on anything. It’s a cheap way to try to sound more enlightened and superior to others without having to make a logical, positive argument. And it doesn’t stand up to serious scrutiny.
