Glenn Beck just mentioned Gavin de Becker’s book, The Gift of Fear, on his radio show. I missed the context Beck was mentioning it in, but I’ve given that book to quite a few young women over the years and often recommended it. It’s an absolutely outstanding defense of what we often think of as “instinct” which may simply be the feelings generated by our subconscious mind picking up on a variety of subtle clues. If you don’t want to buy the book, at least check it out from your library. If you have a teenage daughter, you need to own this book.

I don’t know if it’s my computer – but I seem to be getting redirected to another site each time I come to pursuingholiness.com.
It just started today. Will do a full clean and try again.
…and will purchase this book, thanks!
