I’m not going to be blogging much this week. I’ve made reference to a serious situation in my family a couple of times since a few hospitalizations last fall. This week Kris and I are really called to spend even more time praying and fasting.
Also, I was quite serious about going Galt – I’m in the midst of shutting down my business, and at the same time trying to get the 2008 taxes sorted out. That takes time, but I’ve given myself a deadline of five weeks to contact each client, recommend a replacement, get them moved to a new host (which isn’t just moving files, in many cases it’s moving web apps which is more of a pain and moving email accounts makes me pull my hair out), and get their final bill done.
Finally, quite a while back Kris and volunteered to take part in an evangelical effort at our church, which starts this week. Now is the time to really cover that with prayer and fasting as well, and that takes time.
Bottom line: I really can’t spare the time that I usually spend blogging. I’ve invited Drew and Nick to return to posting, and they may. But I’m also open to some additional guest posters; email me if you’re interested.
