What happened to the Bible studies?

Some people have been wondering what happened to the detailed bible studies I used to post on this blog. While it only takes about an hour to do my own study, it takes about two to blog it. Right now there are two reasons why I’m not blogging my bible studies – the one I’m doing now, at Setting Captives Free called The Lord’s Table – does not readily lend itself to blogging. It’s a mentored, online study. You do it online, answer the questions online, hit submit and your answers go to your mentor’s inbox. I can’t recommend Setting Captives Free highly enough – they have studies on sexual purity, food issues, substance abuse, gambling, and then mentorship and follow up courses. It’s all free, free, free and extremely well done. So while I am doing a daily bible study, it’s on another website. The other reason is that my to-do list for work is unbelievably long. I’m working 14-16 hours a day on the average, 6 days a week. (Half day for church, only about 8 hours then…) The bible studies WILL be back, along with all the Hebrew and Greek word definitions and Morrison, Edwards, and Spurgeon quotes. In the meantime, feel free to see if there are any you missed and you might also be interested in the Psalm 119 series I started and will definitely return to once I’m done with the 60 day Lord’s Table study I’m in now.

Until I finish that and get caught up with work, my and my daughters health issues, my husband’s skin cancer surgery in a couple of weeks (prayer request!), what you’ll mostly see around here is various tidbits about politics, Hurricane Katrina, other people’s blogs, and anything interesting I stumble across around the internet.
