I’ve always thought about that. I’m a contractor so would I have to build houses and give them for free to people that don’t have a house? It could happen.
I know a doctor that treats a few people on medical (California) and doesn’t even send in the reimbursement paperwork. It costs more to have a billing person send in the paperwork than the actual payment.
Eh, why worry? Since cap and trade passed you’ll be needing a new job anyway – construction is going to take a dive. I was going to be all snarky about that – you know, ‘you won’t be required to build a free house, ha ha…’ except it’s really quite depressing.
Man you scared me, Laura! I’m pretty sure it hasn’t *really* passed yet, though.
